I am currently trying to put together a list of network managers for schools in Somerset in order to discuss having a meeting to discuss various issues with IT provision from the county council.

If there are any network managers on here from schools in somerset, or there are people who know their names, please could you PM me with details? It will save time calling round the schools to find out who is who.

We have this in West Sussex we have our own Technicians forum and there are regular meetings were we are shown new technologies and talked to by companies such as Ahkter and also had atomwide (our mail provider) down for one meeting as well. Always a good use of a day. Oh and one of our meetings we all got to play with vista and ask lots of questions about the backbone of it to someone who knows what they are talking about.
