A "fresher" to the world of edugeekers, thanks for the appreciation. from my first post i defended myspace but also had my pro's for facebook to give a 2 viewed approach. i have to agree with the above user that you do get alot of spam messages in myspace and it doesnt on facebook. overall, both social networking sites balance eachother out in there own way.

I quite agree, but you might want messages from your friends, or to see photos they've put up. You can get horribly caught up in all the add-on applications (and IMHO it's gone downhill since they were added) but it's still a good way of catching up with friends.
