Not too sure where to post this so hopefully here will do.
I'm running Microsoft Virtual PC on my computer with an XP virtual machine and have linked my physical C: drive to my virtual machine using the "Shared folder" settings. On the VM, I can copy files to my physical C: drive (and vice versa) with no problems, but if I'm in Word, Excel etc on the VM and try to save a document directly to my physical C: drive, the document fails to save because of "a network or file permission error". The file does get created on my physical C: drive but is 0k in size. Any ideas why this is happening and if it can be corrected to allow direct saving to my physical drive?
Edit: Only appears to be Office documents. Saving a text file from the VM direct to the physical dive works fine.
