    Face recognition and comparison software?

Does anyone have any pointers where to look for facial recognition and comparison software.

Griaule Biometrics have an SDK for taking photos and adjusting them to a standardised cbeff format, but doesn't do any of the comparison stuff from what I can tell.

There's tonnes of research documentation on the net which includes what can only be described as Maths...

    So, any ideas?

Cybula FaceEnforce looks impressive, although I must admit I have no idea what kind of pricing you'd be looking at. It's provided as a C++ SDK with demo programs

Can't answer the question, but I have a friend who works for the Forensic Imaging Group at the University of Kent.
He told me an interesting fact about computer facial recognition - apparently the standard test image for image processing is a centrefold from the 1972 issue of playboy.
She is so famous in the world of image processing she has even been known to appear at conferences.
    I looked her up here:

    In .net or any language?

There is a wrapper for intel's Open CV (computer vision) project here: http://code.google.com/p/opencvdotnet/
or you have LibFace here: Face Recognition Library | Download Face Recognition Library software for free at SourceForge.net

no idea on how good either of them are but it is a start.

Any comparision stuff is going to end up mathsy though as biometrics are usually just a bunch of algorythems that compare ratios of one aspect to another, just look at the eigenfaces stuff and add 3D to that if you want to make your head spin.

.Net is preferred, but am always willing to look at others, if they do the job!
