It does affect the value, but a lot of that is perception. Modern 4cyl fuel injected engines are extremely reliable and can easily do 150-200K miles *provided they are adequately maintained*. The same goes for the rest of the mechanicals - just a matter of not skimping on the servicing. We have a polo with 80K on it and I'd describe it as just nicely run in - not worth much but it will easily do another 80K. I had to shut my eyes when the wife came back with a Fiat 500 as a second car - why oh why oh why oh why. Mind you, last time she came back with a 1972 VW beetle - after we sold it I worked out the running cost of that at about £5 per mile!

Are you 100% sure? I was always led to believe they're built in the same factories and then just shipped to the dealers.

They are indeed the Aygo - the 107 and the Something else are all ult in exactly the same factory and all have exactly the same engines - then shipped to the dealers - you even get exactly the same interior - I used to work in a dealership (Reg Vardy Rover) and saw this alot.

Also if you want more anecdotal stuff about them being the same, the Peugeot & Citroen were both effected by Toyota's recent recall.

Yeah they are all the same car (107, Aygo, C1). However the Aygo is the more expensive of the three and the exterior is finished differently.

These are the figures I found:

    Urban 48.60 MPG
    Extra-Urban 74.30 MPG
    Combined 62.70 MPG

Then I found these on Auto Trader:
    Fuel consumption (urban) 45.56 mpg
Fuel consumption (extra urban) 65.69 mpg
    Fuel consumption (combined) 56.49 mpg

    Not bad really

regards the renault twingo...there is an RS version avaliable for it with a low pressure turbo which bumps the mpg up a bit...plus it comes with fancy wheels, interior and bodykit
