I don't have a bag. I'm feeling inadequate.
Just checking my man bag....yep....both still there....
I have a satchel type briefcase full of junk mostly:
*HTC Desire Charger
*Spare Battery for HTC Desire
*Local Free Newspaper (haven't read it yet)
*Notebook (nearly full)
*Plastic Carrier Bag
*Unused Jiffy PB1 Envelope
*Virus Removal Software on CD
*Unopened / un-applied for Job Application Pack
*McDonalds Free Coffee Vouchers
Black Belt for Martial Arts
Change of clothes
Pair of trainers
Pocket tool kit
Pencil case full of pens, pencils, rulers etc
Varying USB leads
Varying lengths of Cat5E cable
6 USB sticks
Various hard drives in housings.
Assorted USB cables with various ends
Various CDs and DVDs, some identifialble, some not.
Laptop bag strap.
PCMCIA wireless card
Assorted bits of paper in varying states of decay.
Battery for my video camera.
Mini screwdriver set.
Virgin SIM card
Manual for a camcorder
Laptop bag strap.
Sticky Velcro squares
Some more hard drives.
Lunchbox (now empty)
PCMCIA network card
Ocean diver training printout.
2 old sony eriksson phones.
2006 diverlogs brochure
I really must have a cull sometime.
HTC Desire charger
wallet of credit/debit cards etc
ball (for dog)
cloth eco-bag for any purchases
small plastic farmer (don't ask)
two memory sticks and one 'credit card' stick
Not bad really, for a girl!
The work bag, on the other hand, has all the usual stuff in it: CD wallet full of useful stuff, multi-tool, cable maker and bits, screwdriver set, ethernet cable, mouse, powered usb hub, external hard drive, external DVD player, several payslips, A4 file with stuff in, more apples, invoices for this and that, mains cable, printer cable etc etc. Much of which I relaly don't have to carry around all day.
Still, whilst I don't have a hammer, the multi-tool has a couple of really sharp knives that I find very useful.
The reason I don't have much technical stuff in my bag is because I have all my important files in DropBox, a 16GB USB stick in my pocket with everything else, and one of these on my belt:
Gerber Suspension Multi-tool. Brilliant. Got mine off Amazon when it was a special offer for £18. It's a bit pricier now:
