Hi,
Has anyone who is using either of the digital signage got any screen shots that I could see.
Still deciding on which one to go for. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance![]()

Can only speak about Xibo, but as it's free why not install it and see how you like it? As for screen shots, I'm not sure you will see anything more than just looking at the layout section of Xibo. Or do you mean the backend side of things?
I would recommend Xibo as it does eveything we need it to do, but the only way for you to really evaluate it would be to install it on a test system which shouldn't take you too long to do.

We used to have Sedao before moving to Xibo, and I have to admit that I was not a fan in the slightest. Software seemed very clumsy to me, and was a lot harder to manage (as far as I can remember) than we find Xibo to be.
I used Xibo with @FragglePete before I left. It's a bit clunky and can be very quirky but once it's up and running it does the job well. It's also free which is a bonus!
Like Hightower - we have moved from Sedao to Xibo (via MagicInfo ugh) - Xibo is a much neater solution to manage. We display most things via a webpage - which makes it easy for the admin staff to update.
Can't go far wrong with Xibo, we've got MagicInfo screens now so will have to see how the Samsung software goes as many on here slate it
They have released a new version now so will be interesting to see if there's any improvements...
Thats a screen from ours, just started to play with is as you can see got the time, date, weather, Sky news, school propectus, school news VIA RSS feed from website and a scrolling BBC RSS feed to.
Simple yet effective and all the staff and children love it
