Orangescott. I know a company that turns over just over £2mil. There are 4 of them in their office, they work with a telecoms company in the same building, and they are perhaps some of the best sales people I know!
Some companies that turn over 10's of millions (like misco, dabs etc) cant touch the prices of some small companies
Look at @
CPLTD, they are a small company and they have some of the best pricing around!

A fair point and there will be exceptions but generally A2Z and companies of that ilk can't compete because the manufacturers don't care enough about them. It's not a level playing field and then the corners get cut.

To be honest I can't see a reason for dealing with a small company, it seems an unnecessary risk. There's no shamless plugging here just the truth if the company trying to sell to you don't turn over 10 million minimum then they're basically a few blokes in a shed and your opening yourself up to trouble
MG, Enron? your statement is sentiment to your stupidity, and of course your brainwashing in a new environment.

Haha Mark, that's very cutting. I think you mean testament to my stupidity. I don't want to get involved in a bun fight with you, but i'm entitled to my opinion and I can name 20 companies to your 2. The job offer still stands if it gets too cold in the shed or you find some ambition.
Lots of love

Well sorry to drag this up, but we've got 100 machine sbought in June 2010 with 5yr warranties, does anyone know who is honouring these warranties if at all? If so a contact name/number would be good.

Sure... Companies like Olympic support, Maindeck support or Orange Information Systems... note the name.... yeah that's right
Obviously the ideal is to get NS Optimum to warranty them as you'd hope that would be free but there are companies who will do third party support and I've found this to be really common in the commercial world but a bit of a taboo in education... Hope that helps
