Would this be suitable to use as a monitor on a Windows 7 PC?

It wouldn't be used as a TV. For £250 I'm tempted.

Resolution will be pretty rubbish for the size, but I've used a samsung 32 inch as a monitor before with no issues.

That's what I'm worried about - that the resolution will be awful. Tried it too with a Toshiba 32" last year and it was dire.
I use 1680x1050 on a 17" monitor, this TV is 1920x1080, so will be fairly bad... TV's don't generally work well as monitors :-(

ive been using an old acer 32" (1080i) and now a sony 1080P 32" as a monitor for ages granted a proper monitor with higher res would be better but it works ok for me
