I've only just been told about this chap. Ed Stafford has 'walked' across the amazon. He set a time of 18 months to complete but took him over 3 years. Only watched the first episode but the blokes a mentalist. He's eaten tortoise, monkeys and rats so far...

It was on discovery channel, I haven't got sky so hopefully it will appear on dvd.
I love survival stuff. Currently going through a Survivorman phase with Les Stroud. My personal favourite show is Dual Survival with Cody Lundin and Dave Canterbury.
FYI all chrome gave me a malware warning on that site.
