    The April Fools Day thread

    What's happening where you are?

We have a large sign demanding total silence and tiptoeing in the playground due to the neighbours' complaints... it's very funny to watch!

As our staff are a bit under strain (Ofsted next week), I'm going easy on our staff.

I sent the following light-hearted email:

    Hi all,

Due to our budget dropping dramatically next year, we have decided to implement a ‘bring your own’ scheme for IT.

This means that from next year, we will no longer be issuing laptops, instead we will be expecting staff to provide their own in.

We know this may be annoying to some, but with the current economic climate we have to do what we can, and it was either this, or bring your own toilet paper…
I've also added a facebook logo to our pupil intranet, and I'm sure i'll play with the HP printers a bit too.

North Norfolk Radio are running a piece on how a new European Directive will mean that this year will be the last year April fools day will be allowed

Tried that yesterday over our cc3 network, with a wallpaper containing a windows error message. Couldn't get it to deploy for some reason lol.

at 9:35 you regret sending that message after your phone has not stopped ringing since, and there is a queue a mile long outside your door...
