    The great codec & converter hunt...

    Our CCTV uses imm4 codec and I can neither view or convert this to a more friendly format.

    Does anyone have any idea what I can convert with or something?

    Thanks

    Is this a saved video file as imm4? or you mean the live streams?

    * Edit - Imm4 codec -> http://www.cctvone.com/download/inde...%2F00A+Series/

    Win FF maybe - that seems able to convert most things: WinFF - Free Video Converter

    The IMM4 codec is a VCM codec, which means ffmpeg and mencoder-based video encoders won't be able to open the video.

    I would give VirtualDub or Xvid4PSP a try.

    The green video indicates there may be an issue with your graphics card driver. Have you tried updating them?

    I updated the drivers, still the same. I have located the original CCTV playback software and can now view it through that. Just cant convert.
