    Help with a power supply

    Hi guys,

    Need a power supply, here is some pictures if anyone can point me in the right direction so I can get it orderd. Found a monitor with no power lead! Mucho thanks.

    Should just be a case of getting a universal power supply, cranking it up to 19v and making sure that it's rated above 2.6a
    the only thing your pictures dont tell is the polarity (centre pin positive or negative), but you shouldnt damage it if you get it wrong unless it's a very poor design I think.

    Will that universal laptop one be fine with a monitor as long as voltages all match up?

    Should be so long as it has the same size adapter on the end. There are any number of other universal power supplies with interchangable ends and polarities. You just need to make sure the voltage is the same, and the amperage is the same or slightly higher.
