So who is going to gorge themselves silly on those awesome delights known as pancakes?! Maple Syrup and Lemon & Sugar FTW!
I'm disappointed that Goggle picked "International Woman's Day" for their logo today instead of a couple of pancakes.
Now, if only they though to have the women in a kitchen cooking the pancakes!

Lime juice and sugar, batter in the fridge waiting for me. Then a couple of hours dance class to burn some of it off.

Ack. I wish I was oblivious to it! lol. My fiance has been bemoaning the tragic delay of Pancake Day since beginning of Feb!!
(She's a little overzealous when it comes to her "light fluffy golden-brown servings of heaven"...)
But whereas for you and I Pancake day may be a 1 day affair, for her, it's gotta last her till her Easter Eggs...

Yum yum lime and sugar followed by toffee sauce.

I enjoy it and all but I've just been to the supermarket to buy lemons. The amount of people buying pancake mixture took my breath away.
FGS, eggs, flour and milk people! It ain't hard! I guarantee 100% that making your own batter will taste so much better than the dehydrated muck you get in a packet!*
*This isn't a rant at anyone posting here btw, just something I wanted to get off my chest

Oh I am so gorged on pancake I can barely move. Lemon and sugar is my topping of choice. I can't imagine wanting anything else on a pancake - though I may go for a lime variation next year. Pancake mix????? For goodness sake! (Says she who did once [or maybe twice] buy crumble mix [NO not for making pancakes, ]).
