Criminal record for not filling government records?

Interesting the data sorted by temporary employees, stored by Lockheed Martin in the US and the data shared with UK governement agencies and approved researchers according to Statistics and Registration Services Act 2007.

Its always been a crime not to fill in your census form I thought, so this is nothing new?

Maybe not new, but doesnt make it ok.

Data sharing is new, although PR from the OCR says they will be denying requests for information.

Why doesn't it? The census is an important tool for ensuring the government is providing the services it does to the right places. Without accurate information from the entire country, how can they do their job as effectively?

Accurate, yes, but some of this year's questions are intrusive and not necessary

Which ones? As I've said, I don't think the religion one is intrusive or unnecessary.

I think it was this one:

6a) What bra size are you or how long to the nearest inch is your gentlemans sausage

Either that or the one about personal income, I dunno.

Haha. Excellent. This is the knid of thing I was expecting from this post, a bit of a giggle. It's all turned a little bit serious in here.

The ideas for questions are in this document (well, the areas they will ask about anyway, not the questions themselves) - http://www.ons.gov.uk/census/2011-ce...-and-wales.pdf

Can't see anything overly intrusive there.

    6b is actually:

If you answered "transgender" in a previous section, please fill out both parts of 6a

    This one for a start:
A question requiring respondents to disclose which passports they hold.

What's intrusive about that? You've got British citizenship I assume, so why wouldn't you want your government to know how many dual citizenship holders etc... they have in the country?

And it is also voluntary, so if people do have a problem with it, skip it.
