Are we now getting into a debate on Sensi V Kick Off ? [ Kick Off 2 was the best on the ST..... ]Better than Sensi ?

I am limited as to what sport I do as I have a dodgy knee from my days wearing green.
I used to play football (badly) but also use to run, cycle, swim, fencing, do aerobics, circuit training, rowing, kayaking, canoeing, and then you get onto the fun stuff ... judo, ju-jitsu, aikido, lau gar, wing chun, shorinji kempo, iaido, kendo, kyokushinkai, jeet kune do ... and a few freestyle sesions every so often.
Recently I was still fencing, but I have had to put that on hold now.
We have just picked up an exercise bike and I am using that to get some level of fitness up so that when I go under the knife again in a few months time I should be able to make most use of the physio / rehab.
I am now 3 stone overweight and need to do something!
grumbledook you sound like a man after my own heart see: www.contactcombat.net for clarification.

Ooohh ... the style of ju jitsu I did was under The Jitsu Foundation (it used to be very popular within universities) but was more formally known as Shorinji Kan (taken from shorinji kempo and traditional Kodokan Jiudo) and it has a number of common themes and actions to Krav Maga.
I miss it all but know that to continue would only cause more damage to my knee, and possibly put me in a situation where I inadvertantly cause damage to other practitioners due to my failing body.
i love sport swimming rugby football (not watching it too much mamby pamby now) also love sailing but due to my bad knees i can no longer do any of the this![]()
I used to teach TaeKwonDo, but now the most I do is 5-aside footy every couple of week, and since I broke my foot last time, I haven't even been doing that for a couple of months!
I love sport i think is is natural to do somthing energetic after sitting at Computers all day (and night playing online games)
I do circuits twice a week , go the gym, mountain boarding and some free running.
I also play Nintendo Wii :-)
Who'd be up for an Edugeek golf tournament?
defo be up for golf stewart although havn't managed to get out much this year yet.
Nothing wrong with Horse riding I do it to. It’s great you can gallop around in the middle of no where. No technology you can just switch off and relax.
Horse's are way better then children.
Oh yes - particularly if we call it a 'conference' - then I can claim mileage allowance!!Originally Posted by StewartKnight
