Does anyone know where I can get up-to-date and reliable statistics on the take-up and usage of the .eu domain?

    Many thanks.

And also the .co domain. Has anybody started using a .co domain yet?

And, is it me or does it look weirdly incomplete? Like you need to add a 'm' or '.uk' or something to it? I wonder if people are going to have problems with it initially?

I have recently bought .eu and .co domains, I got them for the set rather than thinking people might use them. I agree that .co seems to be missing something, looks weird. I also think no matter how many you bring out if you haven't got .com or .co.uk people will either forget the domain or arrive at someone else's site, it's just a default reaction.

I got a .co domain as I wanted my name in a domain format to be a nice thing to own, and those that know me know how blinking original my name is so I shot in there and grabbed it. So I have myname@myname.co as an email address, not that I use it yet but i own it for when I want to.

    I have done this to but i use fistname@firstnamesurname.com - I would love firstname@surname.com

Anyway what are .co domains used for? is it Colombia or something?

It's .co as in company, etc...

    "New .CO Domain Names
.CO is the new domain extension poised to become the world’s next premier web address, offering you a superb new option in branding your web presence.

Whether you run a small start-up, a large corporation or a personal blog, you need a credible domain name that tells people who you are. Don't miss this great opportunity to secure your ideal domain name with the .CO extension.

Associated globally with the words "COmpany", "COrporation" and "COmmerce" – the new .CO domain is easy to recognise and flexible to use...."

It's the columbian domain suffix. What's quite neat and may attract lots of attention is the .me.uk equivalent will be .nom.co

The real fun is when you register a Cook Islands domain and put a .co before the .ck
