    Has anyone read....

    BooHoo:

Boo Hoo: A Dot Com Story: Amazon.co.uk: Ernst Malmsten, Erik Portanger, Charles Drazin: Books

It's old but rather good [ I'm about half way now ] - and I have to say that Malmsten & Leander come out in my mind as pretentious stuck up morons and I'm happy it went belly up but feel sorry for all the people they left owing money.

The websitev [ old pages ] can be viewed here - but it's VERY slow:

I haven't read the book but a colleague of my brother-in-law worked for Boo as a programmer and said that the waste of money was mind boggling. Wasn't it something like 80 million got blown away?

135 million dollars - on reading certain parts yes, money was just wasted. Their life style was certainly high but not over the top - it was other areas where they wasted it, advertising, marketing, hiring almost everyone and anyone's mates etc on high salaries.
