    Your Best Purchase in 2010?

For me, it's a toss-up between the Nikon D90 DSLR, HTC Desire and my iPad, but on reflection in terms of usage and contribution to everyday working, and ownership satisfaction, the iPad wins hands down. And that's coming from someone who used to be a hater of all things Apple.

What was your best buy of 2010?

My car! To be precise my 2002 '51' Ford Ka 1.3.

Its given me so much more freedom to go where I like, when I like so I can spend more time where I want to be rather than waiting for/on public transport. Its also enabled to get a job I wouldn't otherwise have been able to do which is good as its also a huge drain on my wallet.

Subway restaurants are franchises - so tarring the entire brand with the same brush doesn't make sense. Your local kebab place is more likely to have hygiene issues if the town I live in is anything to go by!

And my purchase of the year? My second hand Canon EOS 350D.
