we ive broken my wrist and now have light duties to do at work. Broke it Friday night playing footie in the sports hall, fell back on it and bust one of my carpel bones, meaning ive got a scaphoid fracture, taking upto 12 weeks to heal.. if still not healled means an op to put a small screw in my thumb... which then in later life could lead to arthrightus.
Oh well s**t happens.. but cant drive and everything else takes twice as long...

I suffered a radial head fracture in a smash on my motorbike* a couple of years ago. I argued with my doctor and came back to work after a couple of weeks off, I was going mad. Couldn't type for weeks though, it was excruciating.

I did invent something neat though - I needed to test all our projectors but couldn't climb up to switch them on. So I got all Blue Peter and took a bamboo pole, a piece of Blu-Tak and one of those rubber-finger-endy things and made myself a remote projector turner-onner...
