What % cost for tech support

What would fellow edugeekers think was a reasonable annual cost of telephone/web tech support and software upgrades (not hardware replacment or maint) for a piece of equipment e.g a £300 core network switch or a £2k 8 ext telephone system (or substitute your own known kit)

How do you mean. Like a Service Agreement?

I would estimate 5%-10% of cost of equipment in school to cover it (per year), and then cost of parts on top if needed.
