Was forced to tidy the garage over the weekend, and realised that I really need to catalogue my comic collection. I've had a look at various bits of software: Comic Base, Comic Collector Live, and Collectorz - but they all seem to be subscription-based. I don't mind paying for something, but I'm not keen on having to pony up every year.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Must haves:
Some way of highlighting missing issues
Easily searchable
Field for which of the many boxes a particular comic is in
Export to one of CSV/Excel/PDF/HTML, or a WinMo app that can be synced or a personal online component (so that I can take my list with me)
Nice features:
Built-in, updatable database (to save typing)
Covers
Something that does much the same for books/music/games or (even better) all the above would be useful, too.
Has anyone used Data Crow or GCStar? Any good?

I can't comment on it though as I haven't looked at it. I just thought that the link might be useful as it has links to other types of collection software at the top right of the page. Operating in a similar way [look/feel] going by the screenshots.
Thanks for that! Looks just the thing - not as slick as the "paid for" stuff, but should do the job. I might go for one of the "prettier" other options for the books and movies, though.
