    I tend to use www.CPC.co.uk

Prices are generally ok for batteries, there may be others of course.

+1 for CPC. Gold Cells (or something like that) are fine for most applications.

You would appear to be doing .. do you need the 3V batteries or just standard AA?

As a comparison I ran the search phrase into google shopping and for that battery it seems pretty good .. http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=L...ed=0CDoQrQQwAw

I know the OP wasn't asking specifically about rechargables but I was getting batteries from a dedicated battery supplier but they stopped stocking CamLink my favorites I now get them from Amazon - CamLink rechargables are in a class of their own holding a 100% charge and lasting for ages.

CPC Is just around the corner from where I live and is great for picking up big boxes of batteries for very little money. And they used to do free delivery (not sure if they still do though).

I bought 15 sets of 4x rechargeables and a couple of 1 hour chargers here recently, and the best price I found was Amazon. Definitely worth a look on there, as they have all their third party sellers who sometimes can do brilliant deals.

From time to time they do free delivery offers, but generally it's over a certain amount spent before they do now ..
