Well, I have sat here all day and I am SO bored. I have been sorting photos etc but I CANNOT STAND IT! Those of you who know me will know that I don't sit down much, I am the sort who relaxes by doing something and now I can't.
Really looking forward to tomorrow: I will be sorting out my new diary for next year and starting this years Christmas list - woohoo.
Still, thanks for all your kind thoughts. P'raps I'll be better tomorrow
back on topic, Witch, i hope you feel better soon. Make sure you make MrWtich feel guilty for not being at your beck and call too. I'm sure that he doesn't deserve that but you're ill so surely you can get away with it.
Here's hoping you feel better.
Just a thought... the edugeek hobnobs are zero calorie... * passes the whole virtual crate to witch *
That should help!
oohhh - virtual hobnobs...yum!
Hmmm...maybe, but I think there is meat in there and I am a vegetarian
Witch, sorry to hear of your mishap, hope you have a speedy recovery- from a lot of experience of ruining my body (only just out of plaster from a snapped thumb!), I’d recommend get it up on a chair and after swelling goes down try some toe extensions.
All the best,
I'm intrigued....how did you snap your thumb or shouldn't I be that curious?
I did the same walking across the platform at Waterloo. My doc stayed on late for me to see him, and in the end said, "RICE" and Ibuprofen, for the pain and as a anti-inflammatory.
Still sat here - just had a hobble about and it hurts now. Not too bad though - weirdly the bruising looks like two fingerprint bruises on the back of my calf rather than a big round bruise. Watching 'Ghost Writer' quite good but not really catching my attention - feels odd to be watching a film in the day time.
* Mark - how DID you snap your thumb?
well I was playing rugby, 1st preseason game and it turned out the top of someone’s head was rather hard and snapped a metacarpal and another bone whilst clearing them out; thought it was bruised until it trebled in size and started throbbing! Upshot was my one handed typing became quite speedy but I wouldn't recommend it.
Get well soon Witch, I know how frustrating it is when you can't exercise due to injury. What was the class?
This class moves you right across the long side of the sports hall. I put a lot into it and I have very long limbs so in smaller spaces I am liable to smack someone by mistake!
Hobbled all around UWE yesterday with my daughter - feels a bit better. Could go to work except I can't get there - although I might try driving in a couple of days
