The article is actually over on ICTechnician.com ... a site run by a bloke down in Kent who seems to have stopped having any interest in his own board ... a good number of the members there are members here and a number of very good discussions go on over there ... it is worth stopping by and searching on there for info.*
*there will never be just one site for *all* the answers ... but it helps to know where to look to start with!

The owner of icttechnician.com was my boss until September when he left the school. He now works in London, and as far as I know not in an educational environment, so I expect all interest in ICT in education has probably evaporated with it.
I will add one thing thing, he's a really nice guy, and he's left us with a supurb network system which was all in-house built, and is exceptionally reliable. He's also done a lot for the status of the technicians in the school, building up a professionally run department that actually gets treated with a fair level of respect most of the time. Shame he's moved on.
Mike.
Why did he move on?

Mark has left? That explains a heck of a lot ... do you have any contact details for him? If so please ask him if you can pass them on to me?
I never got the chance to meet him face to face ...

We got some nice emails though![]()

I do have his mobile number, but I've not spoken to him much since he left.
I believe a couple of the guys at the school are still in regular contact with him so if you PM me your details, I can certainly try and pass them onto him.
Mike.
So now that he has left, what does the future hold for ICTtechnician.com? Are you (maniac) in charge of it now? Will it keep running after it's domain lease expires. I must say I found this place by speaking to Tony there about LNM. I usually come here now though, because it's busier and you get solutions to your problems faster. Having said that though, ICTtechnician.com is still a useful site.

Afraid I have no idea about the future of the site. As far as I know the site was a private venture by Mark, so he retains control and ownership of it. Really funny thing, I'm not even a member of it myself! lol
Mike.
i thought i saw anarticle like that......
