We are getting vibes of our ICT service being outsourced here. No union representation as yet for the support side! - Any recommendations?

If it's just vibes and nothing in writing yet, It's probably not too late to join a union...

I agree - any suggestions on good unions for support staff out there?

I think it is a matter of taste and location unfortunately. There are a couple of people here who have decided they aren't impressed with Voice (which I think are quite good) but whenever they have spoken to the other support staff in other unions they seem worse! I would speak to other people there and ask them why they would or wouldn't recommend a particular one.

They tend to be the major players for us. I have not had any dealings with Voice, but hear good things. Unison were awful for me, but good for others, and GMB have been fantastic for me (helping me out twice!)
