lol..that is one thing I dont feel the slightest bit guilty about
Aside from the fact I do use it for work, I'd charge it anyway, I doubt any teachers feel guilty about it!
Will also charge my ipod, laptop, camera, whatever I need

No regrets, well one but that was a long time ago and it best not to dwell on the past.

Yes but we all do it or similar don't we. I've got my own laptop here that I'm using, along with countless tools and memory sticks and everything else that we bring in from home or buy with our own money to make our working lives easier. I'm even sat here writing with my own pen because the place buys crappy ones that leak ink all over.

I washed my hands at work this morning. Isn't that technically theft of the school's water? Oh, and I breathed as well - isn't that theft of the school's oxygen? And I walked on the school's lino and wore a tiny fraction of it away...isn't that theft of lino too?

    Get a grip good people...

As for people bringing in their own kettles, radios, etc, I am sure 0.00003 amps (ok sarcastic) is not going to hurt the electricity bill.

Although I commend your conscientiousness I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

As an employer I wouldn't care if someone brought their dirty plates to throw in the dishwasher...as long as the work was being done.

(that invite is open to staff only....before anyone close by gets the wrong idea!)

Our school's held together with it - remove the lino and the school would fall down.

I have no problem charging my phone at work. Site staff often call me on it so that's the justification.

On second thought, maybe I should let the battery die so they can't get hold of me....

We have an entry in the staff handbook saying that it is inappropriate to use the school electricity supply for the charging of personal mobile phones.

I notice that there is no section saying that it's inappropriate to use my personal laptop for school use though!!

I stick my fingers in the electric sockets daily hoping for an early death - they can bill me for that if they like.........
