In school we have been doing the EuroMillions as a syndicate for a while now. It has been put forward by the comittee that we change to something different - they suggested the Irish Lottery.
A google search reveals several web sites - but are they legit? Does anyone do the irish lottery online? I need to pay by card every week.
Any advice welcome,
Gareth

24th November 2010, 10:02 PM #3 What is the difference between the one you mention: Home - Lottery
and
Irish Lottery
The first one you mention seems to be similar to the National Lottery here in the UK - especially since the logos all look the same and they do EuroMillions.
What is the other one?

24th November 2010, 11:11 PM #6 Can't you play via betting websites like Ladbrokes?
I'm sure you win alot more money than actually entering the irish lottery direct...
£1152 win on a £2 bet for 3 numbers....

Hi MYK-IT
Yes - I remembered this evening about the betting shops. As it happens I stumbled upon Vernons Pools and this week our syndicate have played Lucky Clover. We have 60 lines (we all put £2 a week).
3 numbers is £500, 4 numbers is £5000 and 5 numbers is £50,000
Who knows - we are researching different ones. I shall check out the Ladbrokes one you mention.
Best wishes
Gareth

Is Ireland part of the Euro-Jackpot yet? The new European lottery that will replace the most common ones, I reckon. Haven't heard about Ireland so far, anyone get any news about that?

When you place a bet with a bookie for the irish lottery, you are just betting against fixed odds and not taking part in the actual lottery.
You are only able to pick up to 5 numbers instead of 6.
You do get better odds on fewer numbers but a worst return if you pick all 5 numbers and they came up.
