Can anyone advise roughly what Dell's delivery times are like?
I ordered the missus Birthday present (An Inspiron Mini 10) Wed night and when I try to track it, it says "Tracking Info temporally unavailable".
Anyone ordered from dell before? Who do they use for delivery?

20th August 2010, 10:46 AM #2 they used business post/ukmail to deliver my laptop. it took them about 3-5 days to build a laptop and 3 weeks to build a mouse.
the tracking is provided by walsh western (and showed up as tracking info temporarily unavailable on both orders of mine) and should appear if you click the 'click here' link next to tracking number on the order status page.

It may be different for home users, but we've always had stuff like toner delivered by UPS at school.

20th August 2010, 01:37 PM #4 The last Vostro laptop I purchased was shipped UPS. The shipping times depend a lot on the model, however, since some models are assembled in and shipped from China, while others are assembled closer to the UK.

20th August 2010, 02:18 PM #5 I've had some real issues with Dell delivery this summer - they pushed back the expected delivery date on some laptops 3 times and they eventually arrived 4 weeks after the original delivery date and a server 2 that was 2 weeks late completely messing up my summer work schedule
