    Ridiculous product name alert! LePad

Thanks to Matt Egan at IDG for making me smile this morning... Lenovo LePad to challenge Apple iPad News - PC Advisor

I'm a big fan of Lenovo but they have gone down in my estimation slightly after this naming faux pas!

Sensible in that it will run Palm WebOS but it's still a silly name... what's wrong with the HP Slate or something?

When I was a lad... everything just had a string of letters and numbers and life was better then! (and it snowed at Christmas and never rained in summer).

Your looking very youthful for 80 Ric hehe

Must admit though, stupid name from Lenovo I'd have expected something more smart than that from them.

LePad is a perfectly sensible name. Instantly recognisable as a sanitary product for french women.

How much do they pay these people to come up with these names?

Yes, we've got a local guy who's a plumber with 'Plumbing R Us' on his van - it looks kind of stupid.
