... which for us is 12 noon tomorrow
The reports have finally been printed, so the printers can go back on strike now.
My new server is on order.
There's a massive box of chocolate biscuits in the staff room.
The sun's out and we have a whole school picnic in the grounds this afternoon.
I may be working during the holidays, but it's so much quieter without the children and teachers!
I 'm feeling less stressed already!

amazing how much more work you can do without teachers and students. And how much better the network works, how there's fewer problems.
If only there was a solution where you could continue to run the network without them indefinately....
That's an early break up? We don't finish til two weeks today!!
2 More weeks here
Still got two weeks to go before I have the joy of a network that has absolutely no issues once more. You have made me quite jealous!
2 weeks to go, here, too!!!!
Then, around 8 weeks to completely rebuild 500+ PC's and laptops...........
Sort out the SCE and Antivirus servers.........
Demote the domain controller, and promote another server!
Oh.....and get a holiday in too!!!
Just had to run two minibus loads of kids to a cricket tournament and stopped for a cuppa. It's a beautiful afternoon but I had to get back to work
Last week of term: got to unbox and set up a whole IT suite of new beasts, rename and move the ones they replace into the ICTAC suite, scrap the old machines, image the new ones and then sort out AD and inventory
And in the other school...install all the WAPS on the ceilings and then make sure the whole Ruckus thing works, get the newsletter out and sort out the website.
1 more week here, then to re-image everything to Win7 and Ofice 2010, and just a simple task!!!! of decomissioning 2 small suites and building 1 new large one ... this was dropped into my lap yesterday
We break up at 12 tomo also. can't wait.... have my scruffs in the car ready for tomo afternoon when I start running some cables.
Hour and a half to go...
Choccies on my desk
Poruguese cleaner who is absolutely lovely has baked a massive cake for Year 6 and given them all cards, prompting another outburst of tears from them.
Roll on 12 o'clock!
Two weeks to go and then...
If head teacher is to be believed, I will still be employed here!
