Is Censornet Forum dead?

Hi,

I am a Ict guy from a Turkish School in Istanbul.
We are using Censornet 3.3 r6. I used to visit censornet forum as well. Bu the forum disappeared. Have they left open source and began to sell Censornet v4. Any idea?

Well it certainly looks like something or someone has killed their forum.

The forum is dead but I just had an email this morning regarding the beta. I shall email them and see what the problem is witht eh forum. I suspect though that they are trying to do something about the spam and just havent finished it off yet.

It's been up and down for quite some time now - for a while there was a holding page about the forum having been hacked and would be reinstalled soon, now as you say it's just an empty directory.

Google does still have a lot of it cached though, so for any problems I've had so far that I would have wanted to look up on the forum, you just precede the search terms with site:forum.censornet.com then use the cached page from the results rather than trying to click through...

Isn't it a pity, a security company that has prducts stopping spam has spam problems or hacking problems, interesting .

They are still currently supporting Censornet 3.3 r6 but as you have said for the very latest version of Censornet this is a product you must buy. Costs vary on the number of users etc, although its not too expensive. They are having problems I think currently getting https:// sites working so it hasn't officially been released and is still in its beta stage.
