What about that for a game ...
... of tennis! Ten hours of playing and they are still even stevens. Wish that could be streamed for the school to watch when they come back tomorrow. (That's if they get up on time)

Just a shame the commentary was so rubbish. I know they had a rookie on duty [wonder how much money is being wasted on him by the beeb] but i caught the game at 32-33 in the fifth, couldn't believe my eyes at the scoreline....but i got no sense of the unprecedented nature of this match as it was unfolding. Hardly any of the record breaking stats were being revieled....isn't that what commentators are supposed to do... Bore you with stats. Especially for a game like that.

If the commentators had been anyone else we would have had stats coming out of our ears - I agree. We'd also have more info about the players, the weather and the state of the nation - lol. not to mention a few cakes - no sorry that's cricket.

A qualifier from France - Mahout and a 6' 9" American called Isner. They both serve at some ridiculously fast pace and each have more Aces than ever before in a match. 95 and 98 I think it was. Brilliant tennis, the match had to be stopped as it was getting dark.

that was stupid to be honest..they are evenly matched, its obvious...lol, but they have to have a rest and some fresh legs as they are continuing tomorrow...lol

As John McEnro said, could the footballers have stayed playing for that long? Agree though they need some rest.

i think isner will almost certainly get past 100 aces now.
but that would be over three days, where i think the previous record of 78 by Ivo Karlovic
was on the same day and on clay!!! It was another maraton match though so it could have been over two days.
100 aces though. that would be incredible.

That Isner v Mahut match is incredible. Isner didn't want the light call, but TBH he didn't look capable of coherent thought.
I think it's 97 -95 on aces to Isner. They have serve aces to save having to run around.. so they both did! I hope they're both fit to play tomorrow. It would be such a shame if they weren't.

Its incredible. I went out last night when it was 45-45 and really expected it to be finished that night but no.
It'll be a bit of an anti climax if one of them breaks serve and wins it in 5 minutes today
