Great site, thanks for the resource
Well it looks like the school year is winding down and I will be making a career move but I have to say my first year in a public school has been interesting.
Edugeek is a great resource for IT /w a focus on education. It doesn't show as much on my posts but I've lurked all school year long.
I will be moving to the private sector now and be working as a systems engineer. I wish there was a site on the Internet for systems engineers as well developed as Edugeek but I doubt it.
My thanks to Edugeek!

Unfortunately, there won't be too much IT related work with my systems engineer position or at least none that I am aware of.

22nd June 2010, 08:09 AM #4 You'll proberbly find there will be, besides, there are at least 2 regular contributors to the site who actually own their own ISPs. EduGeek is for ALL techies, regardless of the field they work in. Many of our members are now working in other IT sectors such as banking, health and the private sector after leaving education, so don't be a stranger, you will find that members will still be able to answer your questions, we are a pretty diverse lot y'know. Besides, we are possibly the worlds largest high-end IT support site now, so if we don't know, or know where you could get the answer you need then you may struggle to get it elsewhere.

If Carlsberg did high-end IT support sites...[your choice of words here]
