First as my better half is being induced on Monday needless to say won't be around as much next week but all going well sometime this week I become a dad.
But I have been made aware of a national scandal that threatens every child in this country. No one in the UK shows Sesame Street no child of mine is growing up not knowing what the cookie monster is
This post has been a production of the Bring Back Sesame Street To UK TV Campaign and was written in front of a live audience.

It was still being aired as recently as two years ago as I saw it then - but at a totally rubbish time - 6am on C4 I think.

that's right, it used to follow the repeats of Countdown (another good programme to have your kids watching) though I'm not sure if Des O'Connor is cut out for the role of host.

I prefer Des O'Connor over Des Lynam

surely not? at least Des brought a little wit and understated intelligence to his role, while Des looks like a rabbit caught in a car's headlights.

I just felt Des. L was a bit wooden and not well suited to the show.

Yes then they got rid of it replaced with that hoobs also made by Jim Henson company but not as good as sesame street.
Got to be careful you will get me started on the cgi version of Winnie the Pooh which imho should be banned for messing with the classics...

that's not a bad idea. OK, big question. Terry nappies or disposables? and remember, the quality of your child's future depends upon you answering correctly.
