    Question Server Names? What next!

We are looking for some new server names but we tend to pick a TV or film and get names out of it.

    i.e
Star Trek - so we have Voyager, Enterprise, DS9
    Star Wars - OB1, R2, D2, 3PO

and my latest personal favorite - Dune (Running Spiceworks)

But with not much going on TV / Film wise we are finding it hard to make a few names up, and we all know a good name makes the server better.

So, What have you got? and i will steal them

I'm boring here, and have a systematic labelling system e.g SA-DC01 = Spires Academy Domain Controller 01 etc. etc.

We used to be local place names,

However since we've gone virtual it would get a bit too hard to manage.

There's all serv and then a descriptor. E.g. ServDC1, ServPrinting, ServSims,

A school I used to work at had servers called Daisy & Buttercup.

What's all this DNS nonsense? There's nothing wrong with using the IPv6 addresses
