Having a bit of time working on Moodle for a CPD course for tutors just got me thinking...

A few years back getting decent hardware on desks, Smartboards, starting out with VLE's was innovating using technology but I reckon we're at a stage now where the kit is much of a muchness, the web has evolved to a point where most stuff is on tap now and pretty quick so where do we go now?

What else can we provide above a stable desktop environment that enriches the classroom? We're looking at ePortfolios and the like to sit with Moodle but even that isn't cutting edge really when you think about it, more of an evolution of a web service than something completely new...

So where are you looking towards in the next few years?
