LG ARENA Birmingham - Parking
Is it still a nightmare to get out of the car-parks at the LG Arena at Birmingham after the concert finishes?
I've got to pick my daughter and her cousin up from the Lady GaGa concert on Friday night.
I haven't been to a concert there for years but the last time it took us an hour to get out of the car-park.
Thinking of parking in the airports car-parks and walking across instead.

Not been since it was the NEC but I never recall it being that bad to be honest.
Airport parking charges are HUGE though

Concert scheduled to finish at 11:45pm - not too happy with two young teenage girls having to hop on a train at that time of night.

If I remember correctly and they haven't changed the roads since when you leave the arena there is a Big lake on the opposite side is the Hilton. If you park there you can make your way out the Back exit and join the M42 going north then M6 down to Coventry.
The red shows the general exit from the main car park and green is the 'back exit'
