    why so good

    every one tells me limewire is good but i had a look at my friends pc and seen loads of pop ups and porn on the screen due to limewire can you advise me in the best music download software :idea: :idea:

    errm maybe buying the music is better option...

    Most file sharing software wll give you rubbish as people put files up there that are full of virues etc..

    For legitimate downloads open source is the way to go - emule etc.

    If you wish to use Bittorrent I find utorrent to be the best option. (Even to the point where I use it in preference (with Wine!) to Azureus on Linux!).

    For other P2P networks I find that clients to be dire and the speeds terrible. The only one that's worth it is the Donkey network. The best windows client is probably eMule. You can find it on sourceforge.

    P2P is a waste of time now, too much hassle

    Best way is to pay a few quid and use newsgroups, and get everything you want at full speed
