I live just down the road from where the accident happened and I cycle through that way to get to a friends house.

I passed by a few hours after it happened and the vehicles were still there & the road closed - all absolutely horrific. The car and the bus were completely smashed.

I have friends whose kids go to the schools involved, as well as having a nephew at one of them as well. Thankfully none were involved but how awful for the families of those that were. Apparently the two dead were the bus driver and the driver of the car.

My wife works at the local hospital and said it was pretty grim there when the casualties came in.

Horrible.
