    vm? just to look geeky! there has to be a really old machine hiding n a cuboard somewhere which can be installed with it then burried somewhere at the far back corner of a cuboard!

    With the budget we can anticipate over the coming months, we'll be rejuvinating anything with a CPU and RAM in it, bunging Windows98 SE on and shunting them back out to classrooms - nothing will be going spare!

    Just knocked up this, so download and install python (if you haven't got it already) and paste this

    Code:
    loop=1
    import random
    while loop==1:
        foo=random.randint(0,2345674323)
        print foo,
    into a new file and run it.

    have downloaded and installed python, pasted the script into the IDLE, how to you get it to run?

    Complete newbie!

    In the IDLE, click "File > New window"

    Paste the script there and hit F5

    Surely a copy of VirtualBox running locally is less labour intensive than setting up a physical machine!

    free, and less power intensive too...

    Been looking for something similar myself. The best i could find was a screensaver that is a bit fugly.

    Thinking about looking at Rainmeter/skins.
