Thank god for that!!

i dont think it would of mattered much who was in power over recent years most of the problems hadn't/couldnt of been predicted and sometimes you just have to make a decision and hope its right and you wont always be right. I dont get why everyone seems to of turned on brown

Poor old Gordy, wonder how he'll cope out of politics? Cut to a scene two weeks from now - Gordon naked except for a pair of dirty y-fronts, stumbling drunkenly around his garden clutching a bottle of Buckfast, shouting at the pigeons.....
Forget Brown with the blame-it-all-on-me schtick, it's New Labour collectively I'm oh so happy to wave off. I was actually thrilled last-night when people like John Reid kicked off talking like credible socialists are supposed to, and more to the point **with a bit of honour and integrity** as opposed to smug [smelly b-word] we've been steadily fed ever since the start of Blair's first victory speech.
Can think of lots of better places to have thrown "smug" in the last decade or so, but no matter the new model appears to be (thanks to the Lib Dems apparently): Forget Deity, and bleeping well help yourself.
PS: Has everyone who was going to leave the country left yet? ;b
oh, they could have been predicted. infact plenty of people did.....what's uncertain is whether there would
have been the political will to do anything about it whoever was in charge. Even now, there's no political
will to undertake proper reforms...
also echo the comments about John Reid....i agreed with absolutely everything he said.

I have to say my facebook has been going nuts with lots of teachers who where pro gordon! just another thing for them to moan about!!
(they work in a area where labour got replaced with tories)

Or as one wag put it on another forum 'The Conservatives have only been in charge a few hours and already there is a scottish man unemployed and his house taken off him!'

Oh, you use Sickipedia as well then?![]()
I'll proobably get the same here, but then again - we are supposed to be merging with another school under BSF.. Somehow I doubt BSF will survive in its current form now.
I'll probably still get shafted over to RM, but I dont see a new school happening anytime soon - at most it'll be a refurbishment...
For all those of you who voted Tory........please remember that when you lose your jobs due to devastating Tory Spending cuts, please come and say good bye on the way out and we can give you the 1 fingered salute.
Hope none of you rely too much on Working Families Tax Credits or your kids on EMA..............
A sad sad day for Britain, how long before they put Maggie back in front of the cameras????
