    FINALLY!

I finally got the monitor I was after! Its a Benq 19" widescreen, and does the resolution I require.

I reasoned that as well as needing one so that I do not strain my eyes and make my chronic headaches worse (and yes I do wear glasses whilst at a PC), it is also ideal for me so that I can have multiple pages open without compromising on size of font etc.

Took a while but I got there in the end! yay me!

Minimum of 1600x900. Most of my work is reports that are wide (in terms they have to be printed landscape rather than portrait to fit the info).

Hahaha Chris well put :P . No it was advised by occupational health that I get a larger monitor due to my chronic headaches and migraines. What I meant was that the monitor is now actually sitting on my desk and is in use!

Through choice, dual 17" Dell monitors, 1280 x 1024. Perfect for my humble needs.
At home, I run a 24" HP but it's just too much for everyday PC use. Great for games and DVD's though.
Not entirely sure I want a big screen at work. Quite happy with extended desktop. Even though I suppose it does equate to a large screen overall, I'm happier using 2 individual screens.

23inch 2048x1152 in portrait orientation for music apps
24inch 1920x1200 for the sequencer view, and for movies

I run either a 50" Telly or a 24" TFT Monitor, depending on where I plug in!

22" 1680*1050 and a 17" 1920*1200 (laptop screen) but I really do need bigger moniters as they fill up so quickly.
