    Salary Scales

Does anybody know where I can get an up to date salary point scale. Are these scales regional? If so I need one for Cumbria. I've been offered a modest pay increase, but i want to check that the point they have offered me corresponds to what I'm actually going to get.

I'd ask your LEA's HR department.

    Re: Salary Scales

Thanks Geoff. If nobody can point me in the right direction on here, then I will ring up HR. Just wanted to do it transparent if you know what I mean. You would think the Salary Scale would be commonly available on your council website. I mean how many jobs are advertised with only the salary point to go off as to how much the job is worth?

    Re: Salary Scales

Don't be silly. There'd be a danger of people outside of current council employment going for the jobs if that happened.

    Re: Salary Scales

I agree richard, those scales make no sense to me, as what I was shown (on paper) was different.
