I saw the other day that it was a night time lift off. I thought after the last disaster they were only doing daylight launches so they could get maximum imaging of the launch. Seems they cahnged their minds.

I saw on the new they had to get the shuttle back before the new year, as they weren't sure the computer clocks could handle the date change!
