    Isle of Wight Randonee

Well it's now official. I'm taking part in this years bike ride around the island. Campsite booked, pre-registered and just this minute bought the ferry tickets

    63miles - I must be crazy!

63 miles? Owww, that's gonna hurt. Especially the price of petrol these days

Dried banana, a small pot of rice pudding and plenty of water. 63 miles really isn't a long way (unless you haven't been on a bike for a while). Just keep a steady cadence and 12 miles per hour should be achievable. Good luck.
