A while back a thread was started about deleting your Facebook account. For those of you who have not deleted your account and are intent on keeping it:
One nice person called David has created a bunch of alternative Facebook profile silhouettes - from Albert Einstein to Frankenstein, Batman to Darth Vader. These are free to use in your Facebook profile. Have fun!
Examples of the alternate profile silhouettes:

[Batman, Legolas and Pinhead in case you had not guessed]

Not sure. Haven't signed up. Never will. Despite pressure to do so from friends. However I understand it is still used by some.

23rd March 2011, 04:02 PM #10 had to laugh- we had a problem with our Smoothwall last week which resulted in staff allow list not working - facebook is on there , along with youtube , google images , webmail, online banking sites etc .
From my regular glances at smoothwall filter logs , I would say that about 80-90% of our staff use FB .....EVERY DAY!!
So I got plenty of moans about all the other sites last week....but not one staff member asked why FB not available ....
I wonder why that would be?

Facebook is the most appalling spying machine that has ever been invented. The world's most comprehensive database about people -- their relationships, names, addresses, locations and communications with each other, all accessible to U.S. Intelligence...
Worth a watch but perhaps not too much too worry about?
