    Time to invade Iceland?

    They owe us money:

BBC News - Iceland holds referendum on Icesave repayment plan

I don't reckon we'll ever see a penny of it.

A fair chunk of it is owed to Kent County Council... I'm not employed by KCC, but I do pay my council tax to them

    and ?

The govt. have already paid out for the UK icesave savers.

Are you, or do you expect to experience a material loss in living standards, because an
agreement on repayment hasn't been reached ?

There's no evidence to suggest that they have enough oil to warrant invasion.

    Controversial eejit!

@torledo: How do you expect government to now get this money back? The money had to come from somewhere, and, as far as I'm aware it was not all of the money paid back to savers...

My post was tongue in cheek, just in case you didn't realise.

If anyone does invade Iceland - can you pick me up a bag of frozen peas? I'm out...

I feel that this card should be mentioned at this point.
