    Unhappy Dreamscene

So since I've been on Vista I've always had Dreamscene running, I like the high tech blue squid effect, it worked fast and perfectly on my old graphics card. *Radeon™ X1950 PRO* but when that died and I got the *ATI HD 4870* its hated Dreamscene, it randomly shuts the PC off, just like the power cord has been unplugged. no BSOD nothing. All the drivers are installed for the new graphics card, and the old drivers are not installed. What's wrong with it? is there some sort of patch?

    Cheers

Did the new GPU come with any additional software or codecs, I had a similar issue when installing Nero onto a Vista Ultimate PC as it cooked the codecs. Had to kill some of the fancy ones which were incompatible with dreamscene and Windows in general.
