    pulsar.exe or SIMS workstation!

    No Deploy package!
Won't work in Vista (with UAC on and has to be used with local admin rights!)
Needs a mapped drive (again with full control access)
Needs special users added to local security groups. (again effectivly making SIMS user a local poweruser).

The software was made for windows 98 and it's still there.

I created an MSI file with a admin.ini which tells it all that infomation. though it does randomly lose work / corrupt it

Mac OS whatever version is on the mac we got given. I have tried, I've given it a fair chance but we just don't get along!

Fronter (I know its a VLE but still!!)

Slow, clunky, tedious to use and riddled with weird quirky bugs. ....Did I mention it was slow?

Edexcel/Promissor testing software. In use every day here at the mo - have to restart the server most mornings (good job its virtualised) breaks every time you do an upgrade, painfully slow, requires admin rights on the workstations and the client software is called "Administrator !"

Add that to the appalling Edexcel online website which you have to use to enter the candidates; awful design, completely counter-intuitive and apparently running on a 386 with 4M of RAM in a datacentre in Nepal...
